Feb 01, 2019 · Looking back at my data from 2011, I was loading 19.5 gr of lil gun under a 325 gr hard cast lead with GC from beartooth bullets. I was getting 1235 fps and 2.5”, 5-shot groups at 50 yds off a sandbag with my 5.5” super Blackhawk. Later I worked a load for 240 gr Speer deep curl JHP and ended with 22.5 gr lil gun.
Aug 13, 2009 · The 44 mag cartridge was designed with 2400 and it still remains a great powder for it today. I use it for all my serious loads from 210gr up to 300gr. I've tried other powders, but never liked the results as much as with 2400.
He doesn't look like it though. His gadget activation time is 5 seconds, so you can't just bandit trick from a mile away. His guns look alright, but nothing too OP.

The single best powder for full .44 loads is WW296/H110 or other surplus equivalent. This ball powder was designed for the .30 Carbine and magnum handgunners have adopted it with good reason. Of the over 100,000 .44 Mag loads I have fired, over 80% of them have been 25 H110/296 and a 250 Keith, the Hensley & Gibbs #503.
